Must we use DB2 for a ClearQuest test database if we use DB2 for ClearQuest?

We have a DB2 database for ClearQuest, but need to set up the Test Database. Is it a requirement that the test dabase also be DB2 or can I just use an Access database for testing purposes?

It seems likely that I'd need to use a DB2 database, but creating one is a huge pain.

theoretically you can use Access. Practically it depends on the complexity of your schema whether Access can handle it. You may end up chasing bugs that are really Access flame-outs. DB2 for CQ comes with CQ so I usually just set it up locally on my PC so I have full control over it and don't have to bug a DB admin when I need a quick test DB.
