Where is a good course in Massachusetts to refresh my Unix programming skills?

Ideally, I'd like to take a unix shell programming course that is offered in the classroom but I would consider an online course as well.  I have ten years of release engineering experience but I was laid off five years ago and I want to work in unix/linux release engineering again or in even switch to system administration.TIA,

Hi Linda,

there are many good online resources that explain how to do shell scripting. Here is one that I was looking at: http://www.livefirelabs.com/unix_tip_trick_shell_script/unix_shell_scrip...

and you can easily download tools like cygwin to give you a shell to play with. But it seems to me that your bigger question might be how to return to work in release management. That requires a little more effort but is very doable. In fact, - many companies are looking for release coordinators which can then lead to release engineering jobs.

Why don't you shoot me an email ([email protected]) with your resume and we can talk.
