did you open a PMR for this issue with IBM? This may be related to a networking issue but it would be easier to tell using the IBM diagnostic procedures that their help desk will most likely have you run.

ClearCase Remote Client delivery error: java.io.IOException: malformed response: content_ID "CheckoutInfo"
Using ClearCase Remote Client, 7.1.0.0, attempting to deliver a single activity with a single change from a child stream to the parent. Get this error mesage:
Error: "java.io.IOException: malformed response: Content-ID "CheckoutInfo""
Merge take place but I have to go to the target veiw and check the file in, which succeeds without incident. Error only occurs when performing the delivery.
