I suppose this is both a "new CM Crossroads format" opinion as well as a question. I have now attempted to follow two links from the old ClearCase International User Group (CCIUG) and both have come up with 404 Not Found errors. How do I find this type of data? The search utilties I've found on the site so far are worthless and the documents are just not to be found...
Here is a quick review of the new site:
I think the new format is pretty but disfunctional. By completely dropping the old forums and not providing an archive to keep the old linked data available I'm afraid that this site isn't nearly as useful as it was in the past. I've always liked Bob but I have to say I miss Patrick. With the old forums it was easy to quickly identify a location of interest and then to drill down into that or search it for more targeted relevant data. This new format...not so much.
I'm trying to figure out a way to download attachments from Problem Reports in Change Synergy. But I'm stuck with ccm export command it seems that either I don't have the permission to use it or it is absent in Web Mode CLI, is there other way to download it.

I am using Change Synergy 5.2 . Recently, i have been getting the below error in the event.log:

We have an issue with the endevor package promotion process. When more than 2 packages are promoted at the same time, we get file contentions for the component libraries. Is there a installation setting that needs to change to overcome this problem ?
Additionally, when a package is cast, the current configuration does not validate (since validate is set to 'N' by everyone) the versioning is no checked. This is leading to versioning errors during the promotions. Is there a option to continue to use validate of 'N' during package casting and at the same time, prevent casting due to out of sequence versions. We are trying to reduce casting related errors during promotion, but at the same time have to continue with validate package set to 'N' while casting.
There are those on my team that think a CR is only needed for requirement changes/customer requests and not for defects.
Can someone please help me to explain why this is not true.
I feel that outside of normal help desk support, all changes, to include correction of functional defects should pass through a CR. This way we properly document that a change was necessary to make the system function properly. This also allows us to track items that were not properly addressed during initial development.
I have a stated record type of Escalation which has a parent/child relationship with a stateless record type of CodeStreams. CodeStreams has a resolution field for each child CodeStream. There can be many CodeStreams to one escalation.
I am trying to create a query that will only return records in which none of the children have a resolution of "fixed".
I have tried a variety of and/or options to no avail, seems some records still come back where a child is "fixed". I am thinking this may have to be done with SQL, any help would be much appreciated.
