Agile Development with ICONIX Process: People, Process, and Pragmatism
This book describes using the ICONIX Process (an object modeling process) in an agile software project. To do this, the book defines a core agile subset—so those of you who want to "get agile" need not spend years learning to do it. All deltas are replicated through encrypted and compressed streams; the user determines the amount and order of encryption. This increases security and decreases bandwidth, and is ideal for use in wireless or satellite-based networks.
Instant Updates -
Instant updates are particularly useful to development teams across long distances. In more traditional systems, servers at each location might exchange information hourly, which leads to file clashes and constant headaches. A query between North America and Asia may make take several frustrating minutes. The substantial reduction in bandwidth in AnniFase CM — the system is only sending compressed deltas — means that dedicated, additional severs are unnecessary. AnniFase CM creates genuine, real-time, international, workspace synchronization.

Because the data resides on local machines, compiling is significantly faster than in traditional systems.
