The world’s second biggest business software maker, Oracle is planning
an entry into the Application Lifecycle Management space taking on the
biggies of the industry such as IBM Rational, Microsoft, Borland
Software and Serena Software.
Oracle
said an entry into the ALM space would give it the same kind of mileage
that the application server market did when it entered the space years
ago.
Though Oracle did not specify when it will launch its ALM
product, it did say the company will build out specific products to
address these areas.
