MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., -- ClearApp, the only
company offering Application Performance Management (APM)
Automation(TM) for portal, J2EE and SOA applications, today announced
it has integrated its QuickVision solution with IBM Tivoli Change and
Configuration Management Database (CCMDB).
Available
immediately, CMDBVision(TM) Adapter for CCMDB is the first product that
connects the closely related concepts of change and configuration
management with application management. ClearApp has also received the
"Ready for IBM Tivoli software" technical validation mark and has been
listed in the Open Process Automation Library (OPAL), IBM's online
catalog which contains over 500 IBM Tivoli and Business Partners
Product Extensions.
While configuration management databases provide powerful tools for
discovering and managing pieces of the IT infrastructure, no two
databases use similar models or schema. CMDBVision Adapter for CCMDB is
the first solution designed to bridge the gap between different
configuration management solutions, allowing CMDB administrators and
owners to extend their visibility into the application layer. With
QuickVision's modeling capabilities extended to encompass
infrastructure data from the IBM Tivoli CCMDB, mutual customers can
achieve comparable results in infrastructure and operations management.
"ClearApp's patented modeling engine already helps QuickVision
customers achieve the best ROI in application management," said Chris
Farrell, vice president of Marketing and Product Management, ClearApp.
"Now that the modeling includes infrastructure data from the IBM Tivoli
CCMDB, customers can strive for synergistic results in infrastructure
and operations management."
ClearApp CMDBVision Adapter for CCMDB is listed in the Tivoli Open Process Automation Library at http://www.ibm.com/software/tivoli/opal.
