Synergy received this award for the fourth consecutive year.

July 26, 2007: Yphise, a French analyst firm, has positioned Telelogic
Synergy at top place on the 2007 shortlist of best software development
management (SDM) solutions. This is the fourth consecutive year that
Synergy has received this honour.
Yphise evaluated the performance of five
application change management tools from different vendors against
three challenges that reflect the major trends in the SDM market. The
categories were supporting outsourcing, improving software development
governance and integrating the full application lifecycle.
"Synergy
stands out in ‘Reducing costs and duration of projects’. It interfaces
with project management and project portfolio management solutions. It
provides original workflows based on requests on tasks. This makes the
project workflow flexible and facilitates changes in emergencies.
Synergy also provides good coverage of our requirements in
‘Guaranteeing the IT aligning on business needs’. It accurately creates
and tracks the release based on functional purpose. Files and
components are automatically linked to tasks. These tasks are attached
to a request for change, tied to business needs," the report stated.
According
