Gives Tech Vendors Tools to Integrate Best of Breed IT Service Management
Solutions NEW YORK, NY - April 24, 2007 - Tideway Systems, the independent leader in IT service configuration management for enterprises, today announced the global launch of the Tideway Technology Alliance Program for leading software and platform vendors that want to integrate their technology with Tideway's flagship solution FoundationTM. The Program will allow vendors to take advantage of Tideway's track record in IT service management integrations, backed by a specialist team and several customer deployments. The formation of the Tideway Technology Alliance Program is a direct response to the IT department's need to implement automated processes across a multi-vendor environment where several management tool sets must work together to generate additional value. A crucial first step is implementing application dependency mapping tools to federate reliable and up-to-date configuration data across multiple management systems. The Tideway Technology Alliance Program enables leading-edge ITSM vendors to accelerate their integrations with Tideway Foundation to meet these customer needs. The Tideway Technology Alliance Program is broad in scope, allowing both ITSM tools vendors as well as application vendors to participate. In addition to specific resources for ITSM vendors, Tideway also maintains the Tideway Knowledge Network (TKN), which allows application vendors to submit up-to-date fingerprints and other information. Through the Tideway Technology Alliance Program, application vendors can certify the latest fingerprints for their applications in order to be sure that customers have the most accurate model of their applications in the field.
