Microsoft Agile tools and processes are considered to be "good enough" at this point for the Agile community to achieve productive Agile business value. The 1.0 version of the Microsoft Agile tools have convinced me that the boys from Redmond understand that Agile is the way to develop applications and services.  Until 2005, Microsoft did not have a compelling set of tools to demonstrate the Agile methodology and Microsoft Agile tools and techniques were executed using open source tools.  The 2005 Visual Studio Team System version of its development tools facilitates the Scrum, continuous integration, and other Agile techniques.  This article will look at Microsoft application lifecycle management (ALM) tools relative to classic Agile concepts.  A key part of the article will describe what works and does not work in the Microsoft tools as it relates to Agile.
