PHILADELPHIA, March 13 - Primavera Systems today announced the launch of a seminar series that addresses the difficulties transportation professionals face in updating the nation's aging infrastructure in the face of inadequate funding and a shrinking pool of skilled labor. Experts at the seminars will present project management practices that have proven successful in other transportation organizations.

  Seminar topics will include:

projects
-- Examples of successful change management, contractor/owner
collaboration and standardization of business processes through
technology
-- Real-world case studies illustrating how standardized project
management can significantly improve project performance

"In today's changing construction environment, owners and construction firms need to redefine business processes and practices in order to do more with less. It is essential that they adopt project management best practices and develop new means of collaboration to deliver projects on time and within budget," said Richard Sappe, Engineering & Construction Industry Market Manager at Primavera. "Our goal is for attendees to leave this seminar with concrete practices that they can immediately use to make their projects and programs more successful."
