Solution for Distributed Applications Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) and mValent, Inc. today announced a joint development and marketing agreement to provide automated application configuration and release management solutions to organizations looking to reduce costs, increase availability, ensure compliance with IT audit requirements and promote IT management best practices. As part of the joint go-to-market relationship, mValent will resell Quest's Foglight® Release Manager, and Quest will reference-sell mValent IntegrityTM. In addition, Quest and mValent have joined forces to integrate Foglight Release Manager and mValent Integrity to deliver the industry's first integrated configuration, change and release management solution for mission-critical distributed applications. Foglight Release Manager, part of Quest's Application Management portfolio, enables automated, reliable deployment of business-critical distributed applications with the control, accountability and insight required to comply with regulatory requirements and IT management best practices.
