Intelliden Awarded Patents for Configuration of Network Devices |

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intelliden, a leading provider of Intelligent Networking solutions that enable organizations to control, manage and scale their networks, has been issued two additional U.S. patents. The first is for its "system and method for configuring a network device,” and the second is for a “network configuration manager.” The patents disclose core technologies within its flagship R-Series® platform that simplify the control and management of the largest and most demanding networks in the world.
As organizations speed the migration to converged internet protocol (IP) networks, the rapid growth of the size and complexity of the networks has outpaced the deployment of necessary network software management solutions. Manual and script-based methods for configuration management cannot scale to meet the requirements of large, complex and dynamic IP networks. The second Patent 7,150,037 describes an automated solution for configuring and managing the configuration of the Internet infrastructure. Operations personnel can quickly execute system-wide changes that would take weeks or months using manual-configuration practices. The patent also discloses a system and method that enables device configuration changes to be detected under program control.
