Sewell Direct Is Branding Its Own USB External Video Card for a Surprisingly Simple Multi-Monitor Experience
OREM, UT- Free yourself from slavery to one screen! Get ready to explore the ease and practicality of multiple monitors with Sewell's USB to DVI External Video Card.
Sewell Direct, a computer peripherals Internet retailer, is launching into consumer production with this easy to use video adapter. Using DisplayLink's virtual graphics technology, this innovative USB to DVI adapter makes having up to six monitors a simple plug, play, and smile kind of process.
"This has mass appeal and is really the first viable solution... on the market. We wanted to seize an opportunity to be one of the first to market the technology that we think will be a revolutionary product," said Lewis Gunter, Sewell's Marketing Manager.
Until now, expanding your desktop or laptop monitors has been technically involving, with limited expansion capabilities.
"Video cards are easy to find online," said Preston Wily, Sewell Development COO. "The problem is that they are created specifically with a technical audience in mind. Our products are made for anybody with enough technical knowledge to operate a computer -- that's it."
Its simplicity is in its design. One side plugs into any available USB port, the other end, a DVI port, plugs into an additional monitor. Even better, the user can add as many as six monitors to any Windows PC (Mac coming soon) by simply adding adapters.
"When consumers try this product they become instant converts because with increased screen space comes increased enjoyment and productivity -- regardless of whether they are working, creating, or playing," said Dennis Crespo, DisplayLink executive vice of marketing and business development. "The adapter experience gets even better when you add the confidence of buying from Sewell Direct with its excellent customer service and technical support."
Along with its ease and universal applications, Sewell's Video Card comes in two editions. The standard edition will support 19-inch monitors with resolutions up to 1280 x 1024. The high definition edition will support 22-inch monitors with resolutions of 1600 x 1200 and 1680 x 1050 in 32-bit color.
David Sewell, CEO and founder, hopes the Sewell brand will come to represent a quality product at a good price, backed by effective and friendly customer service and tech support.
