Process and Portfolio Management (PPM) Track Description: In many businesses information technology (IT) has become a fully integrated element of business success. Executives require portfolio-level visibility and real-time decision support information about current and future IT activities and assets. IT leaders must deliver significant business value and alignment of IT investments with the enterprise business strategy. Project leaders must be able to manage, configure, and execute repeatable processes, particularly in the area of software and system delivery, to overcome the high risk of failure. All stakeholders must be proactively alerted to changing business needs and to variations in project health. This track explores topics in process, project, and portfolio management, and iterative software and systems delivery. Hear and learn from case studies and actual experiences across this spectrum of process adoption, Agile development, measurement, reporting, governance, portfolio oversight, and planning and execution of major initiatives, programs, and projects. This track is for executives, IT leaders, program managers, project managers, portfolio managers, process engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders concerned with optimizing IT investments with industry best practices and team unifying tools.
