About CM Crossroads

Founded in 1998 by Patrick Egan as a destination for discussions among the users of CCC/Harvest from PLATINUM technology CM Crossroads today is the web's most comprehensive developer community and resource center focused on configuration management and application lifecycle management. Over 200,000 unique visitors review resources at CM Crossroads each month viewing over 20,000 pages each day. CM Crossroads offers interactive discussion forums, a broad range of original articles and newsletters, a career search center and Jobs Board and an extensive library of resources in the CM Yellow Pages. CM Crossroads hosts the Configuration Management Body of Knowledge and is the publisher of the Configuration Management Journal.

The goal of CM Crossroads is to provide members with information and resources about the tools they use in a free and open format. Like a crossroads on the information highway, CM Crossroads represents a nexus at the center of the configuration management community where many paths may intersect and continue on.  It is a place where configuration management professionals can begin their search for information and resources and return often to hear about the latest developments with their product of choice.

At the heart of CM Crossroads are the Discussion Forums where members participate in open discussions about a wide range of installation and implementation topics. Discussion groups provide members with the ability to take advantage of the experience of other members who have used their tools, from those who may be trying to accomplish a similar task, or from the vendor's product experts.

Webcast Series
The CM Crossroads webcast series delivers insightful and informational discussions by some of the industry's leading technologists. Each session features a 60-minute streamed presentation including interactive Q&A during which attendees can query the speakers and sponsor. Webcasts are archived for 6 months following the live broadcast for on-demand replay.

Collaborate Online - cmWiki
cmWiki is a wiki web where all members are invited and encouraged to participate in open collaboration on the Configuration Management Body of Knowledge.

Configuration Management Yellow Pages - Resource Center
In the Resource Center members will find a categorized database of information about a wide range of configuration management and development topics. Members will find a wealth of valuable information in the resource center such as white papers, articles, education and consulting services, user groups, books and other related sites. Members may recommend links to other sites that they have found useful or may be beneficial to other visitors.
