Maciej Zawadzki is founder and President of Urbancode, leaders in the Software Delivery Automation space. His most recent work brings innovative solutions in Release Management, Continuous Integration, Build Management, Test Orchestration, and Deployment Automation to the enterprise. A speaker at national conferences and co-author of "Professional Struts Applications: Building Web Sites with StrutsObjectRelational Bridge, Lucene and Velocity", Maciej is an industry thought leader in release management and Continuous Integration. Prior to his work at Urbancode, Maciej wrote Neural Network applications to forecast stock market trends and developed software for online gaming. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Case Western Reserve University and a Juris Doctor from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, both located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jeffrey Fredrick
Consultant
Jeffrey Fredrick is a 15-year veteran of the software industry with a mission to change the way software is created. From his varied career Jeffrey brings the perspective of having performed virtually every role in the software development lifecycle including product conception, coding, testing, documentation, technical support and management of all of those functions. A founding member of the JBuilder development team, he has been involved in Java tool development since before its 1.0 release. Jeffrey is an experienced speaker and trainer on development techniques and process, having spoken at Gartner Application Development Summits, JavaPolis, Software Development Best Practices, EclipseCon, Better Software, STeP-In Summit, and JaSST. He is currently indulging his passion for improving how software is made as an Independent Consultant, as the Co-Organizer of CITCON (Continuous Integration and Testing Conference), and as the top committer for CruiseControl.
