Coalition Recognizing For-Profit and Non-Profit Organizations for Their Achievements in Improving Information Accuracy, Consistency and Reliability of the Information Content, Process and System
NAPERVILLE, Ill.-The Information Integrity Coalition (IIC), a not-for-profit organization that promotes awareness and understanding of Information Integrity, today announced that nominations are open for the annual Excellence in Information Integrity (EII) Awards that recognize organizations that strive to provide accurate, consistent and reliable information to their customers, suppliers and partners.
Co-sponsored by 35 organizations, the annual EII Awards program is open to any organization that has made demonstrable progress towards achieving Information Integrity - the accuracy, consistency and reliability of the information content, process and system. Whether through a single project or an enterprise-wide effort, organizations that have made exceptional progress towards achieving Information Integrity deserve recognition for their efforts.
In 2008, the Awards will recognize two categories of organizations: For-Profit and Non-Profit. In each category there will be three award levels: Gold, Silver and Bronze. All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges made up of advocates of Information Integrity. The judges will evaluate nominees for addressing their organization’s Information Integrity needs and opportunities with demonstrable results and for using best practices on a sustained basis. Independent scores and comments are reviewed collectively by the judges to determine the winners in each category.
The Gold winners of the 2007 EII Awards were: For-Profit category – Steria and Xansa, UK and Non-Profit category – The University of Alabama at Birmingham Center for AIDS Research, USA.
