SpectrumSCM is a completely process based system that uses Change Requests (CRs) to tie issues directly to problem statements and to source code. Software releases are built using collections of completed change requests instead of labels applied to particular file versions in the source code repository. Special features include e-mail notifications on progression of change requests from state to state to manage workflow. The change request life cycle definitions are defined by the user and can be different for each project stored in the repository. The tool can run as an Applet and as such provides 100% of the tools CM functionality over the web.
