
Island Training awarded training contract from the USDA Graduate School
Durham, N.C. – Island Training, a Durham, NC, a woman-owned small business that provides hands-on training for IBM® Rational® software tools, has been awarded a training contract by the USDA Graduate School. The Graduate School specializes in offering career-related and continuing education courses to professionals and federal, state and local employees throughout the country.
Island Training will deliver customized onsite courses utilizing its mobile lab. Remote and hybrid training also is available for all courses offered through the USDA Graduate School.
“Through the use of our remote and hybrid training, students can participate in real-time classes with minimal disruption of their work schedules and no travel costs,” said Jim Herron, co-founder of Island Training.
