I usually find the time to write my articles in early Sunday morning hours. This week instead I participated in a disaster drill conducted at Bowling Green in NYC, very close to the site of the World Trade Center. Uniformed with helmet and N95 respirator mask on, my partners and I were waiting for the order to go out and tend to “victims” of this disaster drill. We had been told that the scenario was an explosion on two subway trains and that there might be a few surprises...Was this part of the drill or had someone tried to sabotage an effort for emergency service to be prepared for the expected future terrorists attacks in NYC?
