Martin Van Ryswyk is the VP of Engineering of Electric Cloud. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Martin was a Senior Director at EMC Corporation where he managed a number of software development teams. Prior to EMC he was the VP of Engineering at Luminate (acquired by EMC 2001), a privately held software company which pioneered the delivery of systems management software as service. He also held management and technical roles at Tidal Software. Martin brings 18 years of experience in building commercial enterprise software to Electric Cloud. Martin holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Martin Klaus Martin Klaus is product marketing manager at VMware responsible for VMware Lab Manager. In his role, Martin is dedicated to improving software development and test infrastructure with a comprehensive virtual lab automation solution that enables rapid provisioning of multi-tier system configurations, improves team collaboration and software quality, and leverages powerful automation tools to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Prior to VMware, Martin held product management positions at Wind River where he managed developer tools for embedded systems and led a Marketing workgroup at the Eclipse Foundation. Martin holds a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Linz, Austria. Patrick Egan Patrick Egan is the founder of CM Crossroads and Editor-in-Chief for the Configuration Management Journal. With over 20 years experience in the software industry in both development and product management, he brings an understanding of the needs of both the industry as well as the users of configuration management tools. Prior to CM Crossroads, Mr. Egan held technical and executive management positions with fortune 500 organizations and software vendors such as Allstate Insurance, the LEGENT Corporation, SERENA Software, New Dimensions, PLATINUM Technology, Catalyst Systems and Computer Associates.
