Uttam Narsu, Former Forrester/Giga Analyst and SCM expert Uttam Narsu has more than 20 years of experience as an analyst, architect, software developer, trainer, and consultant. Uttam is quoted frequently in industry publications such as Application Development Trends, CNET (News.com), Computerworld, eWEEK, InformationWeek, and Internet Week, as well as in Business Week and the Financial Times. Uttam has also spoken at numerous industry conferences. Formerly a well-known SCM analyst with Forrester Research and Giga Information Group, Uttam now freelances, consulting on a broad range of enterprise application development areas including SCM, agile development methodologies, ALM and testing. Uttam attended the University of Chicago and earned a B.S. in computer science from the State University of New York, Albany. Jim Campigli, Executive VP, Product Management & CTO WANdisco Jim Campigli has over twenty years of software industry experience at both early-stage and public companies. In his role as Executive Vice President of Product Management and CTO, Jim is responsible for overall product strategy and product messaging, and serves as an evangelist for WANdisco’s unique approach to the challenges of globally distributed development. Prior to WANdisco, Jim was a founder and CTO of Librados, an enterprise application integration software provider. Jim was a member of the management team that led the company's acquisition by Netmanage, Inc. Following the successful acquisition, Jim joined Netmanage as CTO for the Librados products group. Prior to Librados, Jim was the VP of Product Management for Insevo, Inc., a middleware company specializing in enterprise application integration. After becoming a recognized leader in the middleware space the company was acquired. Jim also held senior product management and consulting management positions at BEA Systems and SAP. Jim holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Gerald Tombs, Managing Director, Clearvision Gerald has worked in Software development for over 25 years, choosing to specialize in Configuration and Change management for the last 15. Gerald joined Atria Software in 1993, working with ClearCase until 1997 when he left Rational Software to become the founder of Clearvision. Gerald is responsible for company direction and product definition, he is lead architect for tools such as CQ2SVN (ClearQuest integration with Subversion) and the revolutionary Web Based Training platform. Gerald is actively involved with Clearvision clients providing advice, guidance and direction for all matters CM related. Clearvision is the largest independent CM consultancy with offices in Europe and the USA, it continues as a major services and products supplier to the IBM Rational and Open Source market. Patrick Egan Patrick Egan is the founder of CM Crossroads and Editor-in-Chief for the Configuration Management Journal. With over 20 years experience in the software industry in both development and product management, he brings an understanding of the needs of both the industry as well as the users of configuration management tools. Prior to CM Crossroads, Mr. Egan held technical and executive management positions with fortune 500 organizations and software vendors such as Allstate Insurance, the LEGENT Corporation, SERENA Software, New Dimensions, PLATINUM Technology, Catalyst Systems and Computer Associates.
