Mario Moreira is a Columnist for CM Journal, a Vice President/Architect of Technology, an Author of CM publications, and has worked in the SCM field since 1986. He has experience with numerous SCM technologies and processes and has implemented SCM on over 100 applications/products, which include establishing global SCM infrastructures. He has an MA in Mass Communication with an emphasis on communication technologies. Mario also brings years of Project Management, Software Quality Assurance, Requirement Engineering, IT Governance Architecture, Methodology, and team building skills and experience. Jim Bell Jim Bell is the Vice President of Marketing at Electric Cloud. He brings with him over 15 years of high-technology marketing experience. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Jim was Vice President of Market Development for Actuate Corporation, where he was responsible for all demand creation in support of direct, reseller, distributor, and OEM sales channels worldwide. Jim also built and led product management and marketing teams as Director of Product Marketing at MS2 (acquired by Agile Software (AGIL)) and Vantive Corporation (acquired by PeopleSoft, now Oracle (ORCL)). He has also held product management and marketing leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Company, Wyse Technology, and Silicon Graphics, Inc. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Patrick Egan Patrick Egan is the founder of CM Crossroads and Editor-in-Chief for the Configuration Management Journal. With over 20 years experience in the software industry in both development and product management, he brings an understanding of the needs of both the industry as well as the users of configuration management tools. Prior to CM Crossroads, Mr. Egan held technical and executive management positions with fortune 500 organizations and software vendors such as Allstate Insurance, the LEGENT Corporation, SERENA Software, New Dimensions, PLATINUM Technology, Catalyst Systems and Computer Associates.
