Original Broadcast: 01 June 2006 About This Webcast:
Corporations require speed from their development teams to survive. Speed enables a product company to beat the competition. Speed enables a corporate IT department to get projects done faster for their Line Of Business. However, corporations also require control to prosper. Control enables compliance to laws and regulations to reduce risk of infractions. Control also increases repeatability and quality to ensure satisfied end users. However, focusing only on speed or only on control is disastrous. What good is a high quality, compliant product that no one cares about because it got to market too late? What good is a product that launches with great fanfare but is riddled with bugs or has to be recalled due to compliance issues?
