Gerald joined Atria Software in 1993, working with ClearCase until 1997 when he left Rational Software to become the founder of Clearvision. Gerald is responsible for company direction and product definition, he is lead architect for tools such as CQ2SVN (ClearQuest integration with Subversion) and the revolutionary Web Based Training platform. Gerald is actively involved with Clearvision clients providing advice, guidance and direction for all matters CM related. Clearvision is the largest independent CM consultancy with offices in Europe and the USA, it continues as a major services and products supplier to the IBM Rational and Open Source market. Patrick Egan Publisher CMC Media, Inc. Patrick Egan is the founder of CM Crossroads and Editor-in-Chief for the Configuration Management Journal. With over 20 years experience in the software industry in both development and product management, he brings an understanding of the needs of both the industry as well as the users of configuration management tools. Prior to CM Crossroads, Mr. Egan held technical and executive management positions with fortune 500 organizations and software vendors such as Allstate Insurance, the LEGENT Corporation, SERENA Software, New Dimensions, PLATINUM Technology, Catalyst Systems and Computer Associates.
