Carey Schwaber Senior Analyst Forrester Research, Inc. Carey's focus is on application development processes and methodologies, as well as tools and techniques for requirements management, change and configuration management, and testing. Her research has been cited in publications like The Economist and Computerworld. Prior to her work as an analyst, Carey served as a research associate on the Application Development & Infrastructure, IT Management & Services, and Consumer Markets research teams. Carey's background prior to Forrester includes work in quality assurance at IDX Systems and media-neutral content initiatives at Cahners. She also worked in the book publishing industry at W.W. Norton and Yale University Press. Carey graduated with honors from Harvard University. Maciej Zawadzki President Urbancode, Inc. Patrick Egan Patrick Egan is the founder of CM Crossroads and Editor-in-Chief for the Configuration Management Journal. With over 20 years experience in the software industry in both development and product management, he brings an understanding of the needs of both the industry as well as the users of configuration management tools. Prior to CM Crossroads, Mr. Egan held technical and executive management positions with fortune 500 organizations and software vendors such as Allstate Insurance, the LEGENT Corporation, SERENA Software, New Dimensions, PLATINUM Technology, Catalyst Systems and Computer Associates.
