Create a success story. Tell them what you will avoid. Tell them how you will contribute to the management process and how you will positively impact the bottom line? That's what they want to hear. They really don't care about the emergency room details, that the patient died, or that the hardware or software malfunctioned this time or that time. Why? Because if they have lived it before, it's just a painful reminder to them about the past. And if they have not lived it before, it's just a meaningless warning about something that they are thinking, "that's not going to happen to me."
