On Thursday October 28th, the final day of ALM Expo brings us to discuss Cloud Driven Development. In an exciting panel discussion with Author and Cloud Computing Technology Consultant Rock Rocaberte, Eran Sher of Nolo, Jim Ensell from CollabNet (Codesion) and Usman Muzaffar with Electric-Cloud, ALM Expo begins the day discussing some of the new and upcoming challenges and opportunities for application development and configuration. We will address what cloud computing means to application development. What are the challenges faced by development organizations and how DevOps can help. Well look into what benefits are provided through the use of Cloud resources across the application lifecycle.
Why Cloud driven development? For successful development you need a three pronged approach. Development without some levels of agility lacks the speed of delivery that customers demand. But with agile development teams face major hurdles in scalability without the use of cloud based resources throughout the development process. And most importantly, without a strong underlying lifecycle management solution no development organization can achieve the reliability and repeatability required to compete in today's market.
