Code Co-op is an affordable peer-to-peer version control system. All project data, including the history of changes, is replicated on each project member's computer. There is no central repository.

The synchronization of the replicas is performed by the exchanged of differential scripts, which are sent out during each check-in. The system can be set up to transport scripts using email or LAN. The email mode of operation is invaluable for widely distributed teams. Code Co-op has a system of detecting conflicts between scripts and merging changes.
