CMBoK™ - Configuration Management Body of Knowledge

This topic has been initiated as a way to collaborate on a standard Body of Knowledge for Configuration Management, and was formed initially in a topic thread in the CM Crossroads CMBoK Forums

The CmWiki was launched in 2000 with the intention of providing an open collaboration environment in which the members of the Configuration Management Community might record a sum of knowledge within the configuration management profession. It was not until 2002 that a few members of that community decided to format this knowledgebase into the Configuration Management Body of Knowledge like several other Body of Knowledge works such as the SWEBOK PMBOK and EABOK.

Although the CMBok Topic has been removed, the content of this entire Wiki may be considered the Configuration Management Body of Knowledge and we hope that the CM community will work to re-organize this sum of knowledge into a publishable guide.
