 The RightScale Development and Test Solution Pack gives development teams an easy on-ramp to cloud computing. In this video interview Michael Crandell, CEO of RightScale discussed how using the cloud management platform for software development and testing, organizations can achieve greater agility for their development teams with virtually no long-term commitment or risk, and at the same time learn more about cloud computing.
The RightScale development and test solution had an interesting genesis. Although it is designed for developers, QA teams and production support to get started using the cloud, RightScale found that the large enterprise customers that they were bringing to cloud computing (Zynga, Ely Lilly, Johnson and Johnson, ESPN, PBS and Sony Music) were not just running their business in the cloud, they were also gaining huge benefits by utilizing cloud resources throughout the application lifecycle.
